TOCCOA, GA – November 16, 2023 – After you have recovered from your Thanksgiving cooking and eating, your friends at Main Street Toccoa encourage you to shop small – as in small business. This year, on November 25, 2023, save some room on your shopping lists and visit Downtown Toccoa to support your friends and families in the community that own or operate a small business downtown.

Main Street Toccoa is looking forward to once again participating in Small Business Saturday, an annual event hosted by the Small Business Association, Main Street America, and American Express. Those who “shop small” from Saturday, November 18 th to Saturday, December 2nd, have a chance of winning our Small Business Saturday Giveaway. Every purchase made during that time frame at each participating business is eligible for an entry into the drawing. All purchase made on Saturday, November 25th are eligible for two entries! Main Street Toccoa will host the giveaway drawing from City Hall via Facebook
Live on December 5th for 3 downtown gift cards!

Small Business Saturday reminds us that the small brick-and-mortar storefronts in our community are the lifeblood of our business climate. For every dollar spent at a small business in the United States, 67 cents of that stays in the community. You won’t see that kind of return online or at a big box retail store. This is a great opportunity to rally behind and support Downtown as the heart and soul of Toccoa.
